    i am pleasantly surprised by how much i enjoyed this its a very original and unique premise, which held my attention pretty much throughout the entire book i would definitely consider this a foundational book its sets the scene for the story, but its quite slow in terms of plot not a lot happens other than getting a feel for the characters
