I suspect this is going to be a very polarizing book This modern YA retelling of Anna Karenina is what I would call The Goldfinch meets Gossip Girl, but with awareness of racism and privilege, not to mention a muchdiverse cast of characters It is smart, darkly tragic, but manages to end on a bittersweet note This is a book that will make you feel things and leave you thin
